Lion King 3D Movie Review

October 1, 2010

Movie Reviews, Reviews

In this Disney remodelling of the original Lion King classic, the characters, plot and heart warming story are the same, except now you can view it in three-dimensional Real-D film.

On a Thursday night in October, theatre three at Colossus Langley was 80 percent full of kids at heart. All ages will marvel at the clear animation through the thick black rims of their 3D glasses. When the orange Savanna sunrise evolves on the screen in the opening sequence, it gives the Disney pioneer a new coat of paint.

Viewers can sing along to “A Kunamatata” with Timone and Pumba or may discover a new favorite movie if they haven’t seen it before.

I give the Lion King 3D experience a big two-thumbs-up.
