Secret Santa for ESL Students

January 3, 2012

The ESL Secret Santa is an annual tradition for all students involved in the ESL Program. On the last week before every Christmas Break, international students gather to receive their gifts. They are each given a sock stuffed with treats, and sing several Christmas carols together. As the presents are handed out one by one, the voices of the students grow louder and louder. Once everyone has opened their presents, the room becomes chaotic as students move around, trying to see what others have been given. After the thirty-minute meeting, students leave the room with their arms full of unexpected gifts.
