LFAS Senior Choir, led by Mr. Jim Sparks, is hoping that Juno nominated B.C. band, Marianas Trench, will choose them to sing backup vocals at their upcoming Face the Music tour.   The  band is holding a contest to give a local high school choir the opportunity to sing backup vocals on stage for two of their songs, Stutter and Fallout.

The idea to enter the contest came from grade 11 student, Tierza Roberts, who is a fan of Marianas Trench. Deven Azevedo, Adam Mah, Ethan Honeywell, and Brock Philips-Hing provided the music for the video. Ilya Zalubniak is lead singer.

“We only had three rehearsals to pull this together,” said Mr. Sparks. “The contest closes on September 24 so we had very little time to rehearse.”

The senior choir sang the song in front of the school.  Jenna Andres filmed and edited the video which will be sent to the band for review.
