Fall has arrived at LFAS

Ella Fitzgerald once sang:

“When an early Autumn walks the land and chills the breeze, and touches with her hand the summer trees.

Perhaps you’ll understand what memories I own.

There’s a dance pavilion in the rain all shuttered down.

A winding country lane all russet brown.

A frosty window pane shows me a town grown lonely.”

This melancholy season arrived at LFAS gently without any omens or expectations. Nobody  saw when it arrived – maybe it was yesterday or the day before, who knows. However, when the students looked out the window one day, scarlet maple leaves with funky faces were falling from the trees.
