On May 2nd, inside the wood shop, Langley Fine Arts had its first ever Doctor Who Fest.

Mr. Purdy and Mr. Scotton were the initiators of the event, and played five episodes for the students to enjoy. The audience was made up of old fans, new fans, and a few who were newly introduced that night.

The presented episodes were from the new series, and included one from Christopher Eccleston, and two from both David Tennant and Matt Smith. Rose Tyler and Amy Pond were the two companions introduced, and Donna was also seen for a few short moments at the end of Rose Tyler’s Doomsday episode.

Although many were unsure about how many people would show up,  forty students became involved and helped to make the night successful.

New fans were created, and  old fans were eager to watch their favourite episodes on the big screen. All in all, the Doctor Who Fest was enjoyable for everyone present and we hope to see another in the future!
