The eager and excited elementary kids of Langley Fine Arts School all gathered in the gym on Thursday September 26th to meet and greet the dedicated cyclists of the organization Cops for Cancer.

Cops for Cancer is an annual event taking place during the fall. It involves emergency service employees, current and former cops, and volunteers. These people tour across B.C, sharing their personal stories about how cancer has impacted their lives. These remarkable people also spread awareness of cancer in schools educating people about ways to keep their bodies healthy and active.

Juliana Loughin, a supporter for the organization, performed an original song, “Fairytale.”

During the Cops for Cancer visit the kids couldn’t stop smiling as the cyclists took time to interact with them and handed out Cops for Cancer memorabilia.
