Drawing With Scissors – Grade 1 to 5 Art Show


With scissors as their theme, the Grade 1 to 5 students of the Langley Fine Arts School opened their “Drawing with Scissors” show in the Mary Pratt Gallery Wednesday, October 30th. ¬†Scissors were¬†used both as a tool and a subject to create the art.

The young children from the ages of 6 to 10 created impressive works of art with simple materials.

The following titles of each grade’s work details the range of subjects studied:

Grade 1 – Birds on a Wire & Moonlight Birds

Grade 2 – Aspen Grove

Grade 3 – Inspired by Henry Matisse; instant feelings or stories.

Grade 4 – Printing With Scissors

Grade 5 – Bending Lines

The gallery is open during school hours
